Beabadoobee arrives in Amsterdam on December 2, 2026, at AFAS Live as part of The Powerlines Tour. Born in the Philippines and based in London, Beatrice Laus first found her footing with direct, lo-fi songwriting, guitar slung over her shoulder, before widening her sound toward a sharper indie rock, tinged with 90s pop, slacker rock, and hints of shoegaze. She broke through in 2017 with Coffee, and followed with a string of short formats (Lice, Patched Up, Loveworm, Space Cadet, Our Extended Play) that laid the foundations: clear melodies, emotion in the voice, choruses that linger without trying too hard. With Fake It Flowers and then Beatopia, she grew in breadth and texture, oscillating between electric energy and softer moments, later expanded by This Is How Tomorrow Moves. On stage, it’s this blend that holds the whole together: an alternative pop driven by guitars, built for live performance, without losing the intimacy of the beginnings.
