Yes « The Fragile Tour »

Yes bring The Fragile Tour to York Barbican in York on 15 May 2027. Formed in London in 1968 around singer Jon Anderson and bassist Chris Squire, the British progressive rock band forged a language that blends psychedelia, classical inflections and jazz touches. With The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge, the arrivals of Steve Howe on guitar and Rick Wakeman on keyboards anchored a symphonic approach: long-form pieces, layered vocal harmonies and wide instrumental passages that became their signature.

Through shifting line-ups, Yes moved from tighter 80s songcraft to renewed stretches of progressive exploration. Today the band carries that arc forward with Billy Sherwood on bass since 2015 and Jon Davison on vocals since 2012. On stage, they draw across eras, from early 70s cornerstones to recent chapters like The Quest (2021) and Mirror to the Sky (2023). Expect intricate arrangements, shifting pulses and melodies that take their time, served with the clarity and interplay that define Yes without locking them in the past.
