The Proclaimers

The Proclaimers land in Bradford on 17 October 2026 at Bradford Live. Formed in 1983 by twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, the Scottish duo shaped a sound that threads folk rock, roots and pop with a punk edge, carried by close harmonies and a distinct Leith accent. Starting out as an acoustic act before expanding to a full band on stage and in the studio, they’ve kept the core simple: direct melodies, plainspoken lyrics and voices that drive the songs.

Their set draws across the catalogue, from early landmarks like This Is the Story and Sunshine on Leith to Hit the Highway, Persevere and Born Innocent, then through Life with You, Notes & Rhymes, Like Comedy, Angry Cyclist and Dentures Out.
