Cookin' On 3 Burners

Cookin’ On 3 Burners bring their Hammond-driven funk and soul to Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, on 4 July 2026. Formed in Melbourne, the trio lock organ, guitar and drums into tight grooves with a gritty, vintage warmth. Their name travelled widely when French producer Kungs reworked their track This Girl, first recorded with Kylie Auldist, but the heart of the band is still the stage: deep funk instrumentals, raw soul cuts and boogaloo-tinged rhythms built for moving bodies.

Across seven studio albums and two live records, they’ve shifted with ease between hard-hitting instrumentals and songs, opening the door to guest voices without losing the snap of their rhythm section. Over the years they’ve worked with Kylie Auldist, Daniel Merriweather, Stella Angelico and Tex Perkins, and the 2026 tour keeps that spirit alive with a rotating lineup of vocalists.
