Josh Ross

Ontario-born and now Nashville-based, Josh Ross brings his blend of contemporary country and pop to The Academy in Dublin on 25 August 2026. A former university athlete turned songwriter, he leans into stories of breakups, small-town memories and the close-up moments that shape a life. “First Taste of Gone” marked his breakthrough, paving the way for “On A Different Night”, “Trouble” and “Ain’t Doin’ Jack”, songs that keep classic storytelling at the core while borrowing structures and hooks from pop-rock.

On stage, Ross plays with a guitar-forward band that favors dynamics over flash.
