On May 6, 2026 at La Petite Halle de la Villette, Sunset Baco #3 brings together three showcases: Yom x Don Turi, Laura Prince and Kubix. A stage shared between clarinet and electronics, soul-jazz and reggae-jazz guitar.
Kubix, a guitarist who moves between reggae and jazz, delivers a melodic, precise style. Clean skank, blues-inflected phrasing and jazz colors intertwine with a strong sense of groove that lets themes and improvisations breathe.
Laura Prince cultivates a compositional voice at the borderlands of jazz and afro-soul. Her supple voice glides over warm harmonies, between hushed ballads and more organic rhythms, with songs that rely on subtlety.
With Yom x Don Turi, the clarinet meets electronics. Yom, a clarinetist shaped by klezmer and jazz, unfolds repetitive motifs and sustained breaths, while Don Turi lays down textures and pulses. A dialogue that plays on tension, gentle trance and improvisation.
