Thomas Fersen returns to Paris with Comme on quitte un imperméable, a concert-narrative in which he unfolds his stories in chiaroscuro, between pop song and deceptively naïve refrains. Born in Paris, having passed through the guitar and a few long detours, he has asserted himself since Le bal des oiseaux as a singular singer‑songwriter, honoured at the Victoires de la Musique and seasoned by tours across Europe and Canada. One finds again his taste for slightly off‑kilter characters, striking images and a precise language that plays with double meanings without overdoing it. After his literary escapades and the adventure The Ginger Accident, he reopens his repertoire, blending new songs with rearranged classics, carried by an instantly recognisable voice and spare orchestrations that give the words room to breathe.
