On April 18, 2026 at Le Glazart in Paris, Hellripper, Schizophrenia and Sarcator share the stage for a direct dive into high-speed extreme metal.
Led by Scottish musician James McBain, Hellripper forges a nervy black'n'roll steeped in speed, 1980s thrash and punk-adjacent energy. Incisive riffs, high tempos and abrasive vocals shape songs that draw on witchcraft, the supernatural and Scottish folklore. On stage the project unfolds as a full band, delivering tight, no-frills playing where effectiveness takes precedence over ornamentation.
Formed in Antwerp, Schizophrenia plays an old-school-flavored death/thrash, balanced between velocity and darker atmospheres. After the EP Voices and the album Recollections of the Insane, the quartet has refined a songwriting approach built on razor-sharp riffs, compact rhythms and rasping vocals. Live, the band aims for immediate impact, alternating rapid assaults and heavier, more massive sections.
Originally from Trollhättan, Sarcator cultivates a blackened thrash that blends Scandinavian bleakness with the bite of thrash/death. From early demos to the album Alkahest, the group has hardened into a fast, dark and compact formula. On stage the set remains concise, dominated by cutting guitars, sustained tempos and continuous tension.
