Nine Below Zero

Born on the South London pub rock circuit, Nine Below Zero bring a lean, electric take on British rhythm and blues to RUST, Nørrebro, Denmark, on 17 September 2026. Led by guitarist-singer Dennis Greaves, the band forged its identity at the turn of the 80s with relentless gigging and a sound that moves between Chicago blues grit, rock’n’roll drive and touches of soul. The guitar stays sharp and melodic, the grooves push forward, and the harmonica — long carried by Mark Feltham — cuts through the arrangements.

Their early run, from the live baptism of Live at the Marquee (1980) to Don’t Point Your Finger (1981) and Third Degree (1982), set the tone: originals built for the room and covers reshaped with bite. After a mid-80s split, the group regrouped and kept the catalogue moving with studio cuts and live documents, including It’s Never Too Late (2011) and 13 Shades of Blue (2016). On stage today, Nine Below Zero keep it direct: quick tempos, tight interplay and songs that land without frills.
