Ultra Vomit

Ultra Vomit arrive on April 3, 2026, at L’Usine in Istres to support Le Pouvoir de la Puissance, their fourth album. The Nantes-based band has built a repertoire that twists the conventions of extreme metal: death, grind, heavy and punk intersect, with meticulously calibrated parodies and nods to pop culture. On stage they alternate growls, screams and clean vocals, tight blast beats and singalong choruses, fake theme tunes and impromptu pastiches. Between these outbursts the band strings together jokes, tempo shifts and sly tributes, ranging from power and black metal to old‑school hard rock.

Anchored by a steady rhythm section and chameleon-like guitars, Ultra Vomit delivers a set that draws as much from their classics (from M. Patate to Panzer Surprise!) as from their new tracks. It’s a show built for the pit, played at a brisk, relentless pace, where the humor serves the music and vice versa, without letting up on the intensity.
