For 15 years, Oldelaf on stage meant him surrounded by four musician-actors with whom he played all over the world, even in the Vendée. But following medical advice, the four were forced to take a break to undergo restorative psychotherapy. Oldelaf thought this was an opportunity to do what he had never dared before: change his wardrobe, admittedly, but also to go on a solo tour. What a challenge for him, a lover of group adventures. But what a chance too to rediscover his first loves: indeed, we’re used to seeing him hide behind a guitar, but what is less known is that, as a mere 14-year-old, he actually began as a bar pianist.
His first songs, his first gigs, were at the piano. So this is an adventure in the making — more intimate, more introspective, but still as funny and offbeat. And rest assured, it will remain a duo: a grand piano and Oldelaf.
