Gauvain Sers

Gauvain Sers returns with Boulevard de l’enfance, a fourth album written between Paris and La Creuse. His new songs scrutinize the times without letting go of the personal: café counters, memories that resurface, and observations of society, all rendered with the simple, precise songwriting that suits him. Now a father, he shifts his perspective, slows the pace, and listens to the everyday details and the quiet lives he has been depicting since the beginning. An heir to the lyric-driven French chanson tradition, he blends sensitive portraits, understated humour and very concrete concerns.

After three albums driven at full speed and relentless touring, he chose to go back to the source in order to move forward again. On 16 April 2027 at L’Écrin in Talant, he will present these new songs and reopen the thread of his journey, between confidences, social chronicles and melodies that stick in the head. Between childhood and the world, the intimate and the political, Gauvain Sers continues to write from a human standpoint—where real life happens—and to turn it into songs.
