On September 25, 2027, Zazie will perform at the Zénith in Dijon for a concert that places at the center what she does best: edgy French pop, catchy melodies, and lyrics that play with words without overdoing it. Since the 1990s, she has carved out a distinctive niche with songs that have become familiar, from Zen to Un point c’est toi, and a distinctly personal way of moving from immediate choruses to more finely crafted lyrics. On stage, you can feel that touring energy and sense of tempo that have accompanied her major albums, from Je, Tu, Ils to Totem, including La Zizanie and Rodéo. Zazie also draws on her collaborations and her career as a songwriter, with the aim of letting songs move fluidly between direct emotion, a touch of irony, and more electric impulses.
