Puggy

Puggy, the Belgian indie-pop trio formed in Brussels in 2005, charts its course with Are We There Yet?, their fifth album conceived as a new stage in their evolution. After refocusing the songwriting and stripping things back to the essentials, Matthew Irons, Romain Descampe and Egil Ziggy Franzen deliver twelve tracks in which straightforward songs and more futuristic textures play off each other. The band has taken inspired detours — from film music to collaborations with orchestras and guest artists — while shaping its world around Radio Kitchen, their studio that has become a true creative hub. The album features additional production by Koboi, mixing by American Mitch McCarthy, and contributions from Nathan Phillips and Nk.F. It includes “On My Mind” and “Mirror”, the latter co-written with Yseult. Puggy will perform at Rockhal Esch-sur-Alzette on 28 May 2026, in a concert that blends new material with touchstones from the past twenty years, carried by the band’s signature balance of catchy melodies and collective energy.
