Suzane

Suzane left Avignon for Paris and has made a place for herself on the French scene. A gold-certified record with "Toï Toï," Révélation Scène 2020 and later nominated for Female Artist in 2021 at the Victoires de la Musique, she moves between chanson and electronic pulses, with direct songwriting and a narrative sense rooted in reality. Trained in dance, she places movement at the heart of her music, which fosters a physical and precise stage presence.

With Millénium, her third album, she pushes the concept further. Self-produced and conceived with Valentin Marlin in a Montmartre studio, the record looks at a generation that is connected but lacking landmarks: humans versus algorithms, a weakened nature, a need for meaning. "Je t’accuse," directed by Andréa Bescond, paves the way and puts the issue of sexist and sexual violence squarely in the spotlight.

The tracks continue this thread: "Humanoïdes" questions technological frenzy, "Un sens à tout ça" searches for signposts, "Lendemain de fête" and "Champagne" dance with cynicism, "Plus que moi" featuring Youssoupha brings together two committed voices, and "Au grand jour" defends love in full view.
