Pablo Mira cherche encore le titre de son spectacle

For his third show, Pablo Mira may not have found the title yet, but he knows exactly what he wants to talk about. On April 3, 2027, at Salle Poirel in Nancy, he lays out his catalogue of the little everyday things that exasperate him to the point of sending him to an overpriced therapist. He also points out those broad social trends he says he doesn’t understand (even while claiming to be highly gifted), the ones that test his self-control and eventually overflow into his daily life.

Over the course of this new hour-long show, Pablo Mira takes aim at the people who, in his view, are making the country unbearable, before turning the magnifying glass on his own faults. In a more personal register, he explains how he manages, almost methodically, to make his life more complicated. Yes, it deals with neuroses, obsessions and little fits of anger, but always with that knack for a perfect line that hits the mark and a very direct energy. No title is needed for that: the essential thing is on stage, and it’s there that he settles his scores, with others as well as with himself.
