Marlon Magnée

On 14 November 2026, Marlon Magnée will take to the stage at Le Trianon in Paris to present his first solo project. Co‑founder of La Femme, he spent fifteen years playing stages across France and internationally before refocusing on his earliest musical obsessions. This record marks a personal turning point that he now comes to defend on stage.

It reveals his taste for crossovers and a signature all his own: rockabilly, punk, cold wave and psychedelic psychobilly collide. In French as well as in English, the tracks rest on sixties-style guitars, a profusion of eighties synths, massive drum machines, analog delays and an intentionally raw energy.

The influences surface unvarnished: Velvet Underground, The Stranglers, Motörhead, The Cure, The Stray Cats, JJ Cale, the Nuggets compilations, but also Gainsbourg, Les Rita Mitsouko, Métal Urbain, Plastic Bertrand and Marc Charlan. A fast, nervous whole, with tempos climbing as high as 240 bpm.

Co-produced with Renaud Letang at Studio Ferber, the album sounds like a return to roots for Magnée. On stage, he offers a direct set focused on this new material and those electric crossovers.
