Yves Jamait

Yves Jamait presents a show dedicated to Maxime Le Forestier, the artist who marked his adolescence and helped set his course. In it he recounts how this encounter challenged his certainties and he sings, in his own way, songs that accompanied his journey, mixing intimate confidences and guitars. The concert takes the form of a musical narrative in which one travels through the years with Le Forestier’s work as a subtle thread.

For this creation, Jamait is joined by Michel Haumont, a guitarist skilled in fingerpicking and a regular collaborator of Maxime Le Forestier, as well as Jérôme Broyer, a longtime collaborator. Together they create a precise sonic landscape of arpeggios, countermelodies and harmonies, in service of the voice and the texts.

This musical journey by Yves Jamait will take place on April 3, 2026 at La Cabane – Les Halles de la Cartoucherie in Toulouse. It is conceived as a moment to share the legacy of a song that shaped him and to reconnect with a songwriter who places words at the center of the stage.
