Benjamin Biolay

Benjamin Biolay returns to the stage with his cinematic and pop songs, a songwriting that blends intimate stories and urban landscapes. As author, composer and arranger, he has built a recognisable repertoire, from La Superbe to Palermo Hollywood, then Grand Prix and Saint‑Clair, where strings, synths and guitars intersect. At the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 13 March 2026, he presents an overview of these records, between slow ballads, more nervous tracks and instrumental interludes.

On stage, Biolay moves from piano to guitar, leans on a brass section and plays with contrasts. Nocturnal atmospheres, refrains that settle in, precise lyrics: he unfolds pieces that belong as much to the French chanson as to film scores. His perennial themes are present: the Italy of his dreams, bruised loves, speed and night outings, a taste for arrangements that give the voice room to breathe. The concert is conceived as a passage through his work, with the mix of pop, melancholy and Latin impulses that has marked his recent albums, in the hall of the Cirque Royal in Brussels.
