Alain Chamfort presents L’Impermanence, billed as his final release in the traditional album format. After more than five decades of records, the composer continues to write and record, but without returning to the logic of the album. His career remains marked by strong collaborations with songwriters such as Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Duval and Pierre‑Dominique Burgaud. Sébastien Tellier is behind “Whisky Glace” and extends the encounter on a joint EP, adding a new shade to this chapter.
On stage, musical direction is handled by Adrien Soleiman. The setlist weaves the tracks from L’Impermanence with lesser‑known pieces from his repertoire, while also revisiting a few classics in new arrangements. It’s a way of connecting the different periods of a catalogue that spans several decades and of presenting an artist who moves forward without nostalgia, staying close to the songs.
