Gilbert Montagné « L'Amour dans ses Mains »

Gilbert Montagné returns to the stage with L’Amour dans ses mains, a new album that brings together what defines his songwriting: a pronounced groove, pop detours and more melancholic touches. A singer, songwriter and pianist first revealed by The Fool, and a figure of French popular music steeped in disco and soul, he puts the keyboard back at the center of the action for a work oriented toward the effectiveness of melodies and the clarity of choruses. This concert will take place on March 9, 2027 at Horizon Pyrénées in Muret.

On stage, he mixes his new songs with the tracks that have marked his career. Among them are The Fool, On va s’aimer, Les Sunlights des Tropiques, Liberté, Le blues de toi and Musicienne, alongside songs from the new record—more intimate in places, more danceable in others. After Get Ready and La Niña, this return to the studio feeds a set conceived as a panorama of his path, between ballads and driving rhythms. Voice and piano guide the whole, in a direct aesthetic that has placed Gilbert Montagné at the heart of French song.
