Info
Hailing from Arkansas, Jesse Welles lands in Paris for a concert at the Trianon on February 16, 2027. A singer-songwriter and guitarist, he moves between folk and Americana with a taut, edgy rock edge, underpinned by blunt, direct writing. His songs take on everyday life with bare-knuckled immediacy: social tensions, the era's contradictions, raw emotions, without canned talking points, but with a real space for doubt and a hint of hope. Discovered in 2024 through performances filmed in the wild beneath the power lines of Arkansas's forests, shot on a smartphone, his songs circulated far and wide, from "War Isn't Murder" to "The Poor" or "United Health". Since then, he has released a string of records (eight albums in two years), collaborated with artists (Joan Baez, Billy Strings, Margo Price, Sierra Ferrell) and made notable appearances, including on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. With Masks Off, released in 2026, and Grammy nominations, Jesse Welles arrives on stage with a raw, direct repertoire, built for live performance.
