Info
On April 2, 2027, Florrie brings her “Magic on Tour” to Helios 37 in Cologne. Behind the project is Florence Arnold, who conceived pop songwriting and drums from the outset—first as a sought-after drummer in the Xenomania milieu, then with material of her own that relies as much on groove as on melody. Live, you can expect from her this nervy, highly rhythmic take on British pop, somewhere between synth-pop and dance-pop, with clear hooks and short, direct refrains. Florrie enjoys playing with the contrast between electronic textures and real band energy: driving drum lines, precise beats, along with songs that don’t waste a moment yet linger in the memory. After several EPs and singles, the newer phase ultimately led to The Lost Ones, her first studio album—and it is precisely this blend of compact pop moments and pulsating stage presence that sits at the heart of this evening in Cologne.
