Info
On July 14, 2027, Megan Moroney brings her sharp, story-first country to Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome as part of the Stampede Concert Series. Raised between Savannah, Georgia and the Nashville circuit, she’s built a sound that sticks to direct songwriting while slipping in pop-leaning hooks, acoustic ballads, and a bit more bite when the guitars kick in.
Live, Moroney plays with contrasts: slow, detail-rich narratives that feel like pages torn from real life, then mid-tempo tracks made for singing along without losing the edge of the lyrics. Expect songs that trace family memories, messy relationships, and those everyday Southern images she turns into punchy lines, pulling from the early mood of Pistol Made of Roses, the more assertive glow of Lucky, and the recent balance of introspective and rhythmic cuts on Am I Okay? It’s a set designed for a big room, but it keeps the focus where it should be: the stories.
