Info
On April 26, 2027, The Rock Orchestra brings its “By Candlelight” show to Halifax, at Scotiabank Centre, with a format that flips rock and metal classics into a full-on orchestral performance. Born in the UK in the early 2020s, the project treats the stage like a dark theatre: strings up front, but pushed by drums and guitars to build something heavier and denser than a standard symphonic set.
Rather than a frontman-and-band setup, The Rock Orchestra works as a collective, playing tightly arranged versions of iconic songs, reshaped to fit a dramatic, cinematic flow. The candlelit atmosphere, the shadowy visuals, and the masked, macabre-costumed presence turn familiar riffs into a different kind of live experience: part concert, part orchestral rework, part immersive spectacle.
