Info
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard land at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne on June 8, 2027, with that unmistakable way of derailing rock in every direction without ever losing the thread. Born in Melbourne around Stu Mackenzie, the band moves between garage and lo-fi psych, progressive rock, folk, jazz-rock, and even heavier outings, with an ease that rests as much on songwriting as on a taste for risk. On stage, the affair often unfolds like a labyrinth: punchy short tracks, long repetitive build-ups, microtonal twists, and their habit of changing the repertoire from one night to the next. Their sprawling discography, from conceptual albums to feverishly released series, mostly fuels sets open to improvisation, jam-style, yet always very solidly built. Expect a concert where styles telescope into one another, where tracks answer each other, and where the band's collective energy links together all these musical lives.
