Info

On December 7, 2026, at Vicar Street in Dublin, Christy Moore brings his unmistakable way of singing stories back to a room that fits him: close, warm, and built for words. A key voice of the Irish folk revival since the late 60s, he’s always balanced tradition and social commentary, carried by that direct vocal delivery and a hard-driving acoustic guitar pulse, often coloured by bodhrán. Expect a set that moves naturally between ballads, traditional songs and sharper, present-tense writing, with the kind of interpretation that makes every line land. It’s the Christy Moore approach: less about showmanship, more about connection, humour, and a repertoire shaped by decades on stage, from Planxty roots to his long solo run.

Sharing the bill, Beoga bring the energy of modern trad without losing the grain of the tunes. Formed in 2002, the Northern Irish ensemble blends jigs, reels and airs with tight arrangements powered by accordion, bodhrán, piano and strings, with Niamh Dunne’s voice and fiddle adding lift. Their sound is rhythmic, precise, and open to contemporary turns, the kind that keeps dance-floor momentum even when the music gets subtle.
