Info
Jean-Michel Jarre brings his “Oxygène & Beyond Tour” to Manchester, playing Co-op Live on October 21, 2027. A defining figure of French electronic music since the 1970s, Jarre built his signature around wide, cinematic synth pads, looping melodic motifs and long-form instrumentals that made Oxygène a landmark. Onstage, that vocabulary expands into a set that moves between ambient textures, minimalist sequences and more beat-driven structures developed across albums like Équinoxe, Les Chants Magnétiques and Chronologie.
This tour is also a chance to hear how his later work reshapes that classic sound: sampled voices, pop-leaning touches, and the collaborative, forward-looking spirit of projects like Métamorphoses and Electronica. Expect a performance where composition and sound design take the lead, with a sense of scale Jarre has long made his own.
