Info
Chanpan brings the autogratis World Tour to Hole44 in Berlin on March 12, 2027. The New York-based trio, fronted by Grace Dumdaw and including twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran, grew up on the street: in Chinatown they first came together as buskers before they consistently transferred that direct energy to club stages.
Musically, Chanpan fuses indie rock with punk drive and a clear Riot Grrrl edge: concise, unadorned songs that go forward and live on the immediate contact with the audience. This very origin also shapes their songwriting practice – communal, focused, and close to the action. In Berlin there will therefore be no slick polished showcase, but a set that brings the spirit of the New York DIY scene and disperses it through the room.
