Info
Vesterinen Yhtyeineen returns to club gigs and will perform at the Finlandia Club in Lahti on Friday, March 12, 2027. Led by Tero Vesterinen, the lineup that has grown large over the years is known for building songs through ensemble playing: guitars, keyboards, bass and drums, choirs and, at times, horn sections, stacking into big choruses, while the lyrics stay close to everyday life.
The set includes the latest album Liian hiljaista (2026), from which tracks such as Pöllöille kyytiä and Två on kolme are highlighted, as well as a long list of songs on which the band's own voice has formed over twenty years. Expect Finnish-language material that sits on the border between pop, indie pop, and schlager-pop, where joys and sorrows are dealt with directly and sometimes with dark humor, and where familiar tracks such as Kohti sydänpeltoja, Tummilla teillä, Kukaan ei koskaan and Onnellinen mies feel particularly apt in a club environment.
