Sønderjyske Maja og De Sarte Sjæle are Danish-language pop, where poetic lyrics, catchy melodies and the warm Sønderjysk mood meet melancholy, nostalgia and humor. At the front are Maja Rudolph's warm vocals and Timo Andersen's whimsical songwriting, a duo that moves effortlessly between the reflective and the festive.
In the past year the duo has released new singles about psychotherapy (with Wikke & Rasmussen on backing vocals), Tinder-love and a trip to Copenhell. On the song Tenerife it all gets a dusty country swing with Kajsa Vala on strings.
Since their debut in 2016, Maja and De Sarte Sjæle have established themselves with their own blend of enduring folk-pop and radiator poetry. The debut album was GAFFA-nominated, and Uden dig became a radio hit. The follow-up album Wroom-wroom from 2022 was well received by the press.
The concert takes place on Thursday, February 4, 2027 at Nygadehuset in Aabenraa. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
