Info
On March 16, 2027, thrown bring their Unwanted Tour to Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal for a set built for impact: short, compact tracks that hit fast and hard. Coming out of Stockholm’s new hardcore-leaning metal wave, the band mixes abrasive riffs tuned low, tight stop-start rhythms and shouted hooks that feel like they’re made to be yelled back in the pit. The writing stays direct and tense, circling around anxiety, anger and friction in relationships, with no time wasted on long intros or big melodic detours. After a run of digital singles, their 2022 EP Extended Pain locked in that metalcore backbone, pushed by hardcore energy and flashes of modern nu metal bounce. Expect a dense, upfront live sound where the rhythm section drives everything, the structures are immediate, and the momentum barely lets up from one song to the next.
Guilt Trip joins the bill.
