Info
On 18 November 2026, Anna Lapwood brings her unmistakable take on the organ to Utilita Arena Cardiff, turning a concert hall into something closer to a moving, cinematic sound space. Known for slipping between sacred tradition and modern listening habits, she treats the instrument less like a museum piece and more like a full-body machine: big pedal lines, bright harmonies, and textures that can swing from choral clarity to film-score drama.
Lapwood’s set is shaped by the way she’s built her career: grounded in classical and liturgical repertoire, but open to orchestral transcriptions and the kind of melodies that stick. Expect a show where the organ can whisper and then suddenly fill the room, with a sense of pacing that feels closer to a live set than a formal recital. It’s a chance to hear an artist who’s pushing the organ into the present, without ditching what makes it powerful.
