Info
Tokyo Tea Room are coming to the Mikropol in Berlin on November 2, 2026, bringing their British dream-pop draft, which hovers somewhere between indie, shoegaze haze, and light psychedelic warmth. Live, you can expect reverberant guitar textures, bass lines that carry the groove rather than crowd it, and tempos in the slow-to-mid range—a music that takes its time and still keeps a fine groove.
At the center are melodies built in a restrained way, along with airy vocals and a deliberately blurred texture that makes everything feel as if viewed through a thin veil. Lyrically, the songs circle around closeness and nostalgia, and the sense of how time changes—told intimately, without grand drama. The evening is thus less a loud exclamation than a focused journey through compact, melancholic tracks that gently settle in and linger.
