Info
On April 21, 2027, Orbital land at Cheese & Grain in Frome for a night built on long-form electronic storytelling. Phil and Paul Hartnoll have been shaping British rave culture since the late 80s, twisting acid house roots into something more melodic and narrative, where techno, breakbeat and ambient all share the same pulse.
Live, Orbital’s tracks aren’t just played, they’re unfolded: themes evolve, rhythms shift, and the tension comes in waves rather than quick drops. Expect a set that moves between club drive and headphone detail, the kind of precision that made their name from early cuts like “Chime” through landmark records across the 90s and beyond. Still active and regularly touring, they keep that classic UK energy while opening the sound up to darker, more political and cinematic moods. This Frome date is a chance to catch a duo who know how to translate rave history into a full-stage performance, without losing the weird, human edge that made them essential in the first place.
