Info
On May 11, 2027, at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Popstars: The Originals brings together two key names from the UK’s early-2000s reality-pop wave: Hear’Say and Liberty X, back on the same bill for a night built around big choruses and that specific radio sheen of the era.
Hear’Say were the instant winners of Popstars, built for punchy, single-ready pop. Expect the set to lean into the tracks that defined their flash-in-the-pan moment, from the bubblegum rush of Pure and Simple to the smoother, more sentimental side of their catalogue, with the group reforming for this tour around Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan.
Liberty X, formed by Popstars finalists who didn’t make the original winning line-up, bring a pop-R&B angle: tight hooks, soulful touches and dance-floor production. From Thinking It Over and Doin’ It to the era-defining Just a Little, their songs still hit with the same mix of glossy pop and club-friendly groove.
