Info
On April 25, 2027, Bess Atwell comes to Limelight in Belfast with the kind of show that pulls you in close rather than tries to shout over the room. London-born and rooted in the UK indie circuit since the mid-2010s, she writes at the crossroads of indie folk and hushed folk-pop: intimate melodies, spare arrangements, and a voice that stays soft while landing every line.
Across releases like Hold Your Mind, the Big Blue EP, and Already, Always, she’s built a songwriting style that focuses on small details—relationships, everyday tension, the doubts you don’t always say out loud. More recently, Light Sleeper, produced by Aaron Dessner, has pushed that sound into something even more refined and quietly expansive. Expect a set that moves between acoustic warmth and subtle pop edges, with lyrics that make the room feel a little more personal for an hour.
