Info
Popstars: The Originals brings Liberty X back to the stage at OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 5 May 2027, tapping straight into that early-2000s UK pop moment where glossy choruses met R&B swing and dancefloor polish. Formed after Popstars by finalists who didn’t make Hear’Say, the group built its identity on tight harmonies, clean hooks and a sound that could flip from club-ready bounce to slower, more soulful ballads without losing momentum.
Expect a set that leans into the tracks that shaped their run: the sharp pop-R&B of Thinking It Over and Doin’ It, the instantly recognisable Just a Little, plus later cuts like Got to Have Your Love, Holding On for You and Song 4 Lovers. It’s a chance to hear that specific UK production style of the era in full voice again, with a show designed for singalongs and throwback energy rather than nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake.
