Info
On June 8, 2027 in Portsmouth, Mike + The Mechanics bring their Back on Track Tour to the stage, with Mike Rutherford steering the band’s smooth pop-rock engine. Born during a Genesis break in the mid-80s, the project has always leaned on sharp songwriting, big melodic choruses and that clean, radio-ready production that defined a whole era.
Expect a set that moves between the band’s classic late-80s and 90s staples and the later chapters of the story. From the punchy drive of “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)” and “All I Need Is a Miracle” to the more reflective weight of “The Living Years”, the show puts the songs front and center: direct, emotional, built to be sung back. With the post-2010 lineup and its shared lead vocals, the concert also nods to the band’s renewed momentum, keeping the same adult-pop warmth while pushing it forward onstage.
