Info
On June 7, 2027, Mike + The Mechanics bring their pop-rock and soft-rock songwriting back to London, at the Royal Albert Hall, with a set built on big choruses and that polished, radio-friendly edge that’s been their signature since the 1980s. Started by Mike Rutherford during a Genesis break, the band quickly found its lane with tracks that balance accessible rock, adult contemporary pop and subtle soul touches.
Live, the show leans into the classics that defined their late-80s and 90s run, from “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)” and “All I Need Is a Miracle” to “The Living Years”, alongside a selection of later material from the group’s second chapter. Since the 2010 relaunch, the lineup has kept the emphasis on strong vocals and tight band dynamics, stretching a catalogue made for singalongs without losing its clean, band-first feel.
