Info
Reef are back on the road, bringing their no-frills UK rock mix to The Liquid Room in Edinburgh on November 20, 2026. Formed in the southwest of England in the early 90s, the band built its identity on thick riffs, a tight groove, and that blues-and-soul edge that keeps their songs moving rather than just hitting hard. If you came up on 90s British guitar music, you’ll know the pull of their big choruses and the way they lock into a rhythm that feels made for a packed room.
The set is expected to pull from the era that put them on the map, from Replenish through Glow, with the kind of direct, punchy energy that made them a serious live band long before streaming playlists. And it’s not just nostalgia: their later records, from Revelation to Shoot Me Your Ace, show a group still writing with bite. Built around Gary Stringer and Jack Bessant, Reef’s current lineup keeps the sound bold, fast, and physical, exactly how it should land live.
