Info
On 20 November 2026, Ampere in Antwerp hosts a drum & bass meeting point built around one of the genre’s most consistent movers: DJ Marky, joined by MC GQ. Coming out of São Paulo in the early ’90s, Marky helped push jungle and drum & bass far beyond the UK, with a mixing style that’s all about speed, precision and that unmistakably warm swing. Expect tight, fast blends, razor-sharp transitions and a selection that can slide from classic rollers to soulful, Brazilian-tinged grooves without losing the thread. GQ isn’t just there to hype things up: his voice locks into the rhythm and turns the set into a proper conversation with the crowd.
Around that core, the night connects different corners of the scene: Murdock steps in for a roots-focused old school set with MC Mota, while One87 brings decades of Belgian drum & bass culture and DJ craft shaped through the Star Warz era. Headspace DJs round it out with Hiraeth, Istoria and Expensive KVR, representing a younger generation digging into deeper, forward-facing sounds.
