Info
On April 9, 2027, Janus Rasmussen lands at Botanique in Brussels with the kind of set that sits right on the edge between club energy and introspective electronics. Born in the Faroe Islands and based in Reykjavik, he’s spent years sharpening a precise, elegant approach to production, where clean sound design meets slow-building emotion.
Known for moving across roles as producer, songwriter, musician, and mix engineer, Rasmussen brings that studio depth straight into his solo material: steady pulses, subtle melodic turns, and rhythms that push forward without rushing. After laying down his personal solo foundation with Vín and a run of releases in the early 2020s, this show is a chance to catch him in full momentum, drawing from a wide electronic spectrum while keeping that restrained, immersive signature.
If you know him from Kiasmos with Ólafur Arnalds, expect the same attention to texture and progression—just more direct, more personal, and built to hit in a live room.
