On 17 October 2026, Permanent Vacation's 20th anniversary will be celebrated at Charlie in Munich—with two DJs who have been shaping the Munich label and its sound for years.
Gerd Janson brings his signature across house, disco, techno and electro: clear, driving grooves, smooth basslines, and a keen sense for edits and unexpected finds. As the head of Running Back and a member of Tuff City Kids, he moves effortlessly between classic dance-music history and today's club energy, without tying himself to a single style.
Benjamin Fröhlich, co-founder of Permanent Vacation, stands for the label's warm in-between hues: house, disco, Italo and Balearic twists, but also a nocturnal tension when the synths grow cooler. His sets fuse the spirit of the 80s/90s with a contemporary view of the dancefloor – open, musical, and built with a clear focus on the club moment.
