REF Session #20 places Nick Curly behind the decks in Nice, at Le 109, on Friday, February 19, 2027. For more than a decade, the Mannheim producer has drawn a clear line between deep house and tech house: a sober aesthetic, precise rhythms, soft basslines, and the direct groove that moves things forward without overdoing it.
Founder and driving force behind the Cecille and 8Bit Records labels, he has left his mark as much through his releases as through his role as a trailblazer at the heart of the European house scene. His career has taken him from clubs to major electronic-music events, with an approach that is always in motion, balancing precision and efficiency.
In Nice, he comes to unveil this signature, crafted for the dancefloor, nourished by years of sets and productions, from his notable EPs to the album Between the Lines. A date to rediscover house in its most fluid and physical form, carried by a DJ who knows the value of detail.
