Info
On 4 February 2027, The Cheap Thrills hit The Bullingdon in Oxford for a night built for people who like their indie rock tight, melodic, and played like it actually matters. Formed in Liverpool in 2010, the band channels that Merseyside live tradition into straight-to-the-point guitars, singalong choruses, and a restless rhythmic push that keeps the room moving.
Across releases like the Glare EP and Vue Du Monde, and singles such as “Sentimentality”, “Codependence”, “Saint or Sinner” and “Party”, they’ve honed a concise writing style where hooks land fast but the tension never fully lets go, somewhere between indie rock, nervy pop and a touch of post-punk edge. Expect a set that jumps between immediate choruses and sharper turns, with the kind of energy they’ve taken from UK clubs to festival stages, and more recently into the independent Mind Metro EP.
