Info
On Saturday the 31st, at Lux Frágil, Disco welcomes OK EG, an Australian duo with releases on labels such as Animalia, Cirrus, Naff, Midgar, and Kalahari Oyster Cult, and the brains behind the newly created GEKO. Their sound stands out for meticulous sound design, organic textures, and an exploratory approach to electronic music, attentive to detail, to dynamics, and to the construction of atmospheres.
They are joined by Berberan, with a selection marked by the 90s rave spirit, as well as house, techno, and percussive tension, and resident Inês Duarte.
In the Bar, Nídia, a singular voice in Portuguese electronic music and part of Príncipe, brings a sound rooted in kuduro, experimentation, and rhythm. With her are DJ Narciso, a member of RS Produções and a producer of dense and unpredictable music blending melodies, metallic beats, and new forms of club music, and Maki, who crosses Brazilian roots—samba, baile funk, hip-hop, and breaks—into a bass-driven approach.
