Info
On 16 November 2026, Laura Misch lands at Bristol Beacon with a set that blurs the line between gig and sound world. London-based saxophonist, singer and producer, she folds electronics, acoustic instruments and breathy sax lines into intimate songs that evolve in slow pulses, with field recordings stitched in like memories.
This show draws heavily from Lithic, where she filters human experience through elemental imagery of air, water and stone, pushing her palette toward more physical, atmospheric textures. It also connects naturally to Sample the Sky and its acoustic counterpart Sample the Earth: music shaped by both city edges and open landscapes, where songwriting, improvisation and production move together without ever feeling locked to one genre. Expect a performance that’s as much about space and detail as it is about melody.
