Info
On February 28, 2027, Paula Cole brings “This Fire: 30” to Islington Assembly Hall in London, a chance to reconnect with a songwriter who made the ’90s feel personal and restless at the same time. Known for moving between intimate acoustic passages and fuller, band-led dynamics, Cole’s set naturally pulls from the album that widened her audience in 1996, with its sharp storytelling and that big, unmistakable voice.
Behind the songs is a musician with real range: jazz and improvisation training at Berklee, early international exposure singing on Peter Gabriel’s Secret World Tour, and a catalog that keeps shifting shape, from socially minded writing to folk-rock textures and jazz-leaning phrasing. Expect a night that leans into the tension she does best: direct melodies, emotional detail, and arrangements that can turn on a dime, with special guests adding extra color to the celebration.
