Info
On 19 May 2027 Greta Van Fleet will land at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen with 'Into the Beginning', an evening where the band's classic rock spirit is allowed to fill the room. The quartet from Michigan plays with a clear love for blues rock and the heavy, melodic expression of the seventies: big guitar figures, a tight rhythm section and Josh Kiszka in front with a vocal that cuts through as the songs unfold in long passages and more atmospheric sections. Expect a set that draws on the full journey from the early breakthroughs to albums such as Anthem of the Peaceful Army, The Battle at Garden's Gate and Starcatcher, where the band can be both direct and more prog-tinged without letting go of the electric edge.
Larkin Poe warm up with their modern take on blues rock, led by sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell. Here there is slide guitar and lap steel, roots grooves and a raw rock energy that works just as well for heavy riffs as for more psychedelic twists. As a live band they are known for playing tight and loose at the same time, and they set the stage with songs that balance power, vulnerability and strong harmonies.
